Hike from the hamlet of Ecot to the Evettes refuge

Very nice hike on Thursday August 19 from the hamlet of Ecot (2022m) to the Evettes refuge (2590m) and on the way back, I went to admire the magnificent Pont de la Lama waterfall with its turquoise waters.

Departure altitude: 2022m
Arrival altitude: 2590m
Elevation gain: 568m
Schedule: 2 hours uphill, 1 hour and 15 minutes downhill
Description of the route:
From Pont St-Clair, take the path to the right towards Refuge des Évettes, via the GRP path of the Grand tour de Haute Maurienne.
This climbs steadilyly, and gives us interesting points of view on the valleys below (Bonneval and the col de Maurienne, Cascade de la Reculaz, Iseran, Écot, and the valley of the Arc dominated by the Grande Aiguille Rousse.
Then you arrive at the Col des Évettes (2561m), where the magnificent setting of the Cirque des Évettes finally reveals itself.
Finally reach the Evettes refuge (2590m).
For the descent, take the same route.
