A stunning hike that I made Thursday, August 8th from the “Ville des Glaciers” to “Col de la Seigne.” At the pass, the view is breath taking of Mont Blanc.

Description of the route:
In summer, access to the route between Les Chapieux and Glacier City is regulated; there is a paid shuttle.
From the parking of the City of Glaciers (1789m) down to the torrent and cross the bridge and continue Northeast by the track towards the refuge of Mottets
From Refuge des Mottets take the path that climbs to the right towards the Col de La Seigne.
At the top you are in Italy, and Mont Blanc is close to you.
Return by the same route.
