A beautiful hike in order to ski this Saturday, May 7th from the hamlet of Les Fontanettes to the Col de La Grande Casse.

Description of the route:
From the parking at Fontanettes, go up the ski slopes and join the Chalet Refuge des Barmettes.
Cross the torrent of Glière. Continue in the valley leading to the “Chalets de la Glière” then to the “Lac des Vaches”.
Exit route Col de la Vanoise, and go NE to cross the moraine of the glacier of the Grande Casse. Follow the glacier in its center to the pass.
