Hike to the lake and refuge Presset from the hamlet of Treicol

A new hike for this year to the lake and refuge Presset from the hamlet of Treicol. It was cold and there was a little snow on the trail approaching the Col du Bresson and on the peaks.
Our mountains are certainly beautiful when they wear their blazing fall autumn colours!
I used the opportunity to visit the refuge which was built in 2013; a beautiful haven that offers a capacity of 30 seats and all the comforts of a modern building.
I will come back here this winter, hopefully with some of you.
The Beaufortain is a hotspot for ski touring.
The Alpine pasture offer a vast choice of routes: the height and the range of slopes also supported easy routes for those wishing to learn.
