Val Thorens
At 2300 meters above sea level, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe.
Its ski slopes are linked to the 600 km of 3 Valleys slopes. Initially made up of many condominiums, it has recently gone upmarket. It has beautiful homes, a gourmet restaurant and 14 hotels, including 9 luxury hotels.
Thanks to its privileged location, the village of Val Thorens is located in the heart of the slopes. Whatever your place of residence, the slopes are in the immediate vicinity.
Regularly voted best resort in France, Europe and the world (in particular by the World Ski Awards), the resort at the top of the Belleville valley attracts crowds with its quality of snow, always there thanks to its long winter season, from mid- November to mid-May.
In terms of installation, the resort of Val Thorens offers many spaces for the enjoyment of all: a snowpark, a committed boardercross for ski cross fans and a more accessible for the less daredevils, a FamilyPark to learn comfortably the pleasures of skiing, a 6 km long Cosmojet toboggan run based on the theme of space as well as a double zip line (“the BEE”) to fly over the slopes over 65m high!
Finally, from the top of the 3 Valleys, Orelle side, the highest zip line in the world which will take you on a 1.30km flight above the glacial valley of Bouchet….
From February, evening skiing is also offered with Péclet By Night on the Péclet funitel, thus offering even more skiing to holidaymakers in Val Thorens.

The zip line
A gliding flight 1,300 meters long, 1 minute 45 of pure pleasure in a breathtaking panorama, from the highest point of the 3 Valleys at 3,230 meters above sea level, at the top of the Bouchet chairlift on the ski area. Orelle, to connect to the ridge of Val Thorens, at 3,000 meters, to the top of the Funitel de Thorens.
The “Cosmojet” toboggan run
Be careful, you are here on the longest toboggan run in France! 6 km of descent, on a natural valley, accessible from 5 years old. The departure alone is worth the detour; you start at the foot of the Péclet glacier, at an altitude of 3,000 meters. The descent is done in 45 minutes, on slopes with varied turns.
La Cime Caron
Ski enthusiasts and pedestrians can embark on a fabulous trip with the Cîme Caron cable car. Departure from the center of the resort to finish the ascent to an altitude of 3195 m!
The arrival, half suspended in the air, is considered one of the most impressive in the world.
At the top, a 360 ° panorama with a view of more than 1000 summits of the French, Italian and Swiss Alps and Mont-Blanc as a backdrop! To name a few: Mont Brequin, La Meije, Aiguilles d’Arves, the Chavière and Bouchet glaciers. An orientation table will help you locate them.
Val Thorens sports center
In a covered area of more than 7500m2, enjoy an aquatic area with two swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and a relaxation area but also a fitness center, a fun park and a delirium park as well as many other activities for young and old!
